No. The portal sets up in under 5 minutes. Upload the video, enter the client's name and the system automatically generates streaming (up to 4K on Pro and Business, 1080p on Starter), the AI highlight, the reel and the gallery — no coding required.
They do not install an app or create a LuxStory account. They open the link you send. If the gallery is protected, the portal may ask for a code or a short session — not a public signup.
Your portal and photos are ready in minutes. The 4K film is processed on our servers: a 2-hour wedding usually takes 1 to 2 hours, longer if there is a queue. Streaming, highlight and reel are processed in parallel, and we email you as soon as it is ready to share.
Yes, on Pro and Business plans you can upload your logo, choose your brand colors and fully customize the portal. Your clients only see your name — the platform works invisibly behind the scenes.
Video streaming is included in all plans. To download original files (4K MP4 or full-res photos), you can keep them in the Vault: $12/yr up to 30 GB, $19 up to 60 GB, $32 up to 100 GB and $55 up to 200 GB per project. You decide which projects get it.
Yes. The system analyzes the video's scene changes to build the highlight automatically — it doesn't depend on audio or language, so it works the same with Spanish-language weddings and quinceañeras.
Yes. No contracts, no penalties. If you cancel, your portals stay active through the end of your paid period. You can export client data at any time.
Yes. Every plan includes a photo gallery (JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF) at no extra cost — photos share the same storage as video. Start with the Starter plan ($29/mo) even if you're not uploading video yet.
Your files remain accessible through the rest of your paid period. After canceling, you have 30 days to download all your content before it is permanently deleted. We send email reminders throughout that window.
We offer a full refund within the first 14 days if you're not satisfied — no questions asked. After that period, partial refunds for unused time are not issued.
We email you at 70%, 85%, 95% and 100% of your capacity. If it fills up, you can delete content, upgrade your plan, or archive a project (Vault) to free up space without deleting anything. We never delete your content without you asking us to.

Yes, with browser pairing: on the TV they open luxstory.app/tv, scan the QR with their phone (or type the code), and sign in to the portal. Roku, Apple TV, and Fire store apps are not available yet.
